A childhood in the tiny hamlet of Barrytown, NY gave Alison a love of this area: the people and places, the Hudson River and the history. After graduating from Bard College with a degree in photography, she traveled and explored the world. She settled down in some amazing cities: New Orleans, San Francisco and Berlin, but deep down only the Hudson Valley felt like home. She now lives in a Folk Victorian home in Rhinecliff, another tiny hamlet, with her family and some chickens. Alison found that real estate nicely combines her love of this place with her appreciation for architecture and country living, so she joined the Rhinebeck office of Gary DiMauro Real Estate in 2014. Alison is also deeply involved in the local community and school district. She teaches art and technology to children, and volunteers at Rhinecliff’s Morton Library and the Rhinebeck Science Foundation.
