Gary was introduced to the Hudson Valley in 1988 as a weekender from Manhattan. Captivated by its beauty and quality of life, he decided to live here full time within a year. His love for antique houses began with the renovation of a converted church in Tivoli (which was later published in House Beautiful- Jan. 1994). Fueled by his own frustrating home buying experience, he decided to reinvent himself from musical theatre actor to Realtor. He got his real estate license in 1990 and opened his first office in the then undiscovered Village of Tivoli in 1993. Gary was an integral player in Tivoli’s rennaissance, and realized the importance of preserving and energizing our historic Hudson Valley towns. He opened his second office in the City of Hudson during its renaissance in 2003, and the third location in the up-and-coming Village of Catskill in 2007. Gary and his wife, Kathryn (the Creative Director), currently spend most of their spare time renovating their 1830′s farmhouse in Milan which was published in Country Living magazine in April 2012.
