Catskill Creek Cabin

A very unique village location – overlooking the Catskill Creek. This jewel box has great views of the water and the historic Black Bridge from the windows and back deck. Built about 1880 probably as a transfer station or ticket house for passengers riding the rail tram up to the Catskill Mountain House. You can launch your kayak right from your own back steps. Renovations in 2003 included gas heating, new windows, kitchen and bath. The original hand hewn beams were uncovered for extra ceiling height and a sleeping loft was created. The stone fireplace is plumbed and ready for a gas insert. Exposed brick and wide boards make for a very rustic interior. EXCLUSIVE
